I’m thrilled to join with an all-star group of percussionists to perform this incredible work of Grisey’s at the American Museum of Natural History. Le Noir de l’Etoile is an immersive work scored for 6 large percussion setups that surround an audience. Grisey’s music accompanies audio recordings of pulsars – the results of supernovae – and is an incredible aural and visual experience. This is a rarely performed work – don’t miss it!
