Sandbox Percussion joins the Dogs of Desire, the Albany Symphony’s New Music Group for the world premiere of Viet Cuong’s Re(new)al, a concerto for percussion quartet and sinfonietta.
This piece was commissioned by GE, and each of the three movements deals with one of their renewable energy initiatives – water, wind, and sun.
This performance is part of the Albany Symphony’s American Music Festival at EMPAC. Sandbox will also be doing a full program on June 3.
